At Domaine Bergeville, we create effervescent wines that tell the story of the labour, the land and the love behind every bottle. Our aim is for every sip to have significance, reminding us of the care, craftsmanship and commitment that give life to our wines. Our hope is to offer you the possibility to celebrate special moments of life, big or small, with greater awareness and heart.

From vineyard to cellar, and finally into the glass, we cultivate, create and share our vision of Québec wines with intent and authenticity. Whether enjoyed at home, in a restaurant or during a visit to the estate, we strive for our wines to showcase our terroir and to invite you to savor every moment more fully.

THE WINEMAKER’S MANIFESTO

For a vine to produce the finest fruit, its growing environment has to be respected and sustained. The vine is part of our team, since the foundation of any great wine is the quality and soul of the grapes, carefully guided by precise and loving work in the cellar.

The vine is a living entity evolving within a dynamic environment. At Bergeville, we consciously choose to respect its true nature and provide the best possible conditions for it to thrive. In practice, this means respecting organic, biodynamic and sustainable cultivation practices, favoring gentle pruning and respectful shoot thinning, and continuously aiming to enrich biodiversity in the vineyard.

By working judiciously first in the vineyard, and then in the winery, and by creating a partnership between vinifera and hybrid varieties, it becomes possible to craft wines of a precision and depth still rarely explored in Québec. Few estates pursue this methodology to this extent. We have made it the heart of our identity.

At Bergeville, blending is never a compromise. It is a quest to reveal and highlight the best of each grape variety: its tension, structure, energy and ability to support the whole. The winemaker’s role is to understand these strengths, balance them and transform them into coherent, expressive and memorable wines.

For us, wine is not only born in the vineyard or the cellar: it is born in reflection, experimentation and the boldness to create conditions and recipes that did not yet exist. Each grape variety from each parcel is a potential enhancement. Each tank is a new possibility. And each blend is a statement.

We surround ourselves with people who :
