Cool-Climate Viticulture in the Appalachian Highlands

A walk through the vineyard accompanied by the winegrower is the best way to discover how Quebec is so well adapted to the crafting of sparkling wines. What is the specificity of cool-climate viticulture? How can we preserve our environment by using organic and biodynamic viticulture practices? How does Domaine Bergeville strives towards sustainable winemaking practices?

The 45 min tour includes the sampling of one Domaine Bergeville sparkling wine. Offered in French on Saturdays. For English tours, please contact us.

A Bubble in Time: from La Champagne to La Belle Province

Go back in time to discover the fascinating history of the traditional Champenoise method. Our resident expert Louis will share delectable anecdotes highlighting the technical and cultural evolution of this celebrated and unique wine. From its origins to its modern incarnations, from the Champagne region to La Belle Province, this tour will heighten your appreciation of the contemporary traditional method sparkling wine you will sample. Your 45 minute experience will include two tastings. Visit offered in French only, every Friday and Saturday.

SPARKLING WINEMAKING : BEHIND THE SCENE

This workshop reveals the subtle and precise art of creating sparkling wine. All bubbles are not created equal: ancestral and traditional methods actually produce a variety of effervescence. Guided by a certified sommelier, the 1h15 session includes sampling 3 sparkling wines. Offered in French or English by appointment.

Winegrowing : from vision to vintage

Climb aboard and get ready for a unique excursion in the Massawippi Valley! Let yourself be transported to the heart of our certified sommelier guide. Sample several iconic cuvées along the way, including the A Priori a limited issue served exclusively during this tour. Duration 1h30. Offered on Sundays in English or French. Private groups of up to 4 people.

Guided Tastings

Discover our wines and our passion with a guided tasting from a member of our team during opening hours (in French or English). Learn more about winemaking, the history of our vineyard and the methods we employ. We’re also happy to discuss food pairings and the best Bergeville wines to accompany your favourite dishes.

We would love to welcome you for a private tasting session or workshop for groups of 10-15 people. Although we are not currently set up to accommodate events on a large scale, we are happy to consider rearranging available space to welcome you in the future.
